This part of the DVSA theory test for car drivers consists of 50 multiple choice questions.
You'll need to select the correct answer, or answers.
You'll have 57 minutes to complete the test. To pass you need to correctly answer 43 out of the 50 questions
This part of the theory test requires you to view 14 hazard video clips on the computer screen.
There's 15 hazards to find - at least one on each clip.
However, one clip will have 2 hazards
You'll be asked to read a car number plate from 20 metres.
Don't worry you can wear your glasses if you need them
1 before you drive and 1 while driving.
Things like checking your oil or turning your headlights on
The examiner wants to see you make safe effective progress, reacting to signs, road markings and other road users.
Any serious faults and it's a fail!
You'll need to be able to drive in to a parking bay and reverse out, reverse in to a car park bay, parallel park on the road or pull up on the right and reverse back in a straight line
Coming to a complete stop, quickly and under control. Then pulling away safely, not the most fun execerise but only one in three tests do the exercise
You'll be driving for around 20 minutes finding your own way using a sat nav or road signs. Don't worry if you go the wrong way. You're allowed to be bad at navigating
